Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question about our cookies, ordering process, or delivery options? You’re in the right place. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions we get from chefs, cafés, and hospitality partners about our products, ordering, and wholesale program.

About Our Products

Q: Are your cookies really made from scratch?
A: Yes! Every cookie we make is crafted from scratch in our Apopka, Florida facility using high-quality ingredients and 100% real butter — no pre-made mixes or shortcuts.

Q: Do you use preservatives?
A: No preservatives are added to our recipes. Our products are kept frozen to maintain their freshness and quality naturally.

Q: Are your cookies fully baked or ready-to-bake?
A: We offer both!

  • Ready-to-bake dough pucks (frozen) for chefs who want that fresh-baked aroma and experience.

  • Pre-baked, individually wrapped cookies (frozen) for convenient thaw-and-serve solutions.

Q: Do you offer vegan options?
A: Yes! Our Vegan Chocolate Chip, Vegan Oatmeal Banana, and Vegan Peanut Butter cookies are made with premium plant-based ingredients and are just as delicious as our classic line.

Q: Are your products gluten-free?
A: Not at this time. All of our products contain wheat flour and are made in a facility that handles gluten-containing ingredients.

Buying & Availability

Q: Do you sell retail or direct to consumers?
A: No — Sunny Sweets is a wholesale-only bakery. We do not have a retail storefront, and our products are sold by the case, not by individual cookie.

Q: Why aren’t there prices on your website?
A: Because we sell exclusively wholesale, we do not display prices online. Pricing information is provided directly to approved wholesale accounts and distributors.

Q: Who can buy from Sunny Sweets?
A: We sell directly to restaurants, hotels, cafés, caterers, and distributors. If you’re a foodservice professional, we’d love to work with you!

Q: Do you have a storefront or offer walk-in purchases?
A: No, we don’t have a physical storefront at this time. Orders are placed in advance and delivered or shipped to your business.

Storage and Handling

Q: How should I store the cookies?
A: Keep all products frozen at 0°F or below until ready to use. Ready-to-bake dough should remain frozen until baked. Pre-baked cookies can be thawed and displayed for up to 5 days for best quality.

Q: What is the shelf life of your products?
A:

  • Frozen dough: 6 months from production.

  • Pre-baked cookies: 6 months frozen. After thawing: best enjoyed within 3–5 days.

Q: Can I refreeze thawed cookies?

A: We don’t recommend refreezing for best texture and flavor.
